What if a terminal responded to plain, imprecise language instead of exact commands?

Hypothesis

A slightly fuzzy command parser would feel more forgiving without becoming unpredictable.

What it is

A sandboxed command line that tries to understand near-misses — typos, partial words, reordered phrases — and shows its reasoning instead of just failing silently.

Try it

Type anything close to a real command and watch the parser explain what it matched and why, including its confidence.

Result

Fuzzy matching worked well for typos but became confusing for genuinely ambiguous input — the interface needed to admit uncertainty rather than guess.

What I learned

Forgiving input still needs to be honest about its own confidence, or it trains people to stop reading what they typed.
